4Street Fighter EX is one of the series of Street Fighter fighting games. Despite being an official Capcom game, this series is not part of the official canon of Street Fighter games, thus being a spin-off of the series, and was co-produced by developers Capcom and Arika.
Street Fighter EX was the first game in the Street Fighter series to feature polygonal graphics.
As it is not part of the official canon of the series, Street Fighter EX has no defined story in any of its games, being just the same thing as always: M. Bison and Garuda want to dominate the world and both sides will compete to see who can (or not) at the end. The only thing that can be said here is that the game takes place in a parallel universe to the original Street Fighter Alpha.
