Street Fighter II - Guile theme in 8-bit (NES)
295This time I wanted to pick a classic song that everyone should instantly recognize and love. So I decided to remake a track from one of my favorite fighting series. Street Fighter. I chose to do Guile's Theme because it's such an awesome and patriotic song, and in my opinion the best song of Street Fighter II. Closely followed by Ken's and Ryu's theme.
I chose to do the Super Nintendo version because it has my favorite rendition of the song. I especially love the epic trumpets in the SNES version. Compared to the Mega Man remakes I've been doing, this was ten times harder because of the much more complicated melodies (especially the bass). But the hardest thing was the fact that I had to combine certain channels because the SNES has much more sound channels than the NES. I did my best, and it should sound like no important melody is missing. This all took a good week of hard work, so I hope you all like it.
So Guile's theme goes with everything? Let's see if it goes with 8-bit.
