Street Fighter II: The World Champion: Guile full Playthrough.
Like i promised, here's my Guile playthrough, tough character to play, but i like him.
This was the game that completely blew my mind back then, i already had played the original Street Fighter game on the Spectrum computer, but this was a whole new level of gameplay, the vibrant colours, the great caracters, right of the bat, i liked a lot, Blanka and Guile because imo they looked the most badass caracters of them all.
Gameplay is consistent with the Street Fighter II sub-series, with several changes from the original World Warrior edition.
In addition to the eight main characters, the four Shadaloo Bosses (Balrog (Boxer), Vega (Claw), Sagat, and M. Bison (Dictator)), are now playable characters. The Shadaloo Bosses were toned down considerably from the previous iterations, but remain relatively strong compared to the standard eight fighters. The returning eight main characters' techniques and priorities were further balanced for competition between different characters. Ryu's and Ken's common fighting techniques were further differentiated.
In World Warrior, both players are not allowed to choose the same character. This restriction has been eliminated in Champion Edition, allowing for "mirror matches".
Minor graphical changes include color improvements, particularly for background stages. The portraits for all the characters and endings of some of the returning characters were redrawn. There is new music for the end credits sequence.
Guile is the tetartagonist of the Street Fighter series, first appearing in Street Fighter II. He is a major in the United States Air Force whose goal is to destroy the criminal organization Shadaloo, while at the same time investigating the whereabouts of his best friend Charlie Nash.
Guile is a tough man, both physically and mentally, who takes pride in family, and is a loving husband and father to his family. A stoic man at heart, Guile's calm and emotionless exterior actually hides intense feelings, especially his fury after Charlie's death. Although loyal to the Air Force and the United States, Guile is extremely persistent. He always seeks to get the bottom of the matter, especially concerning Shadaloo, M. Bison and what happened with Charlie Nash, which has led to problems with his superiors. Despite this they have high respect and esteem for him. His persistence has also caused pain to his family, which hurts him deeply.
On this Playthrough i tried to be as effective with Guile's moves as possible, so that i would not get stuck with an adversary for too long.
I'm not o pro player, i just play for fun and for nostalgia sake.
