Streets of Rage 2. The sequel to the first Streets of Rage with a greatly revamped fighting system.

Mr.X returns with a vengeance with a more powerful gang of fighters to blast through. He captured Adam to lure our ex-cops to his grasp. Axel and Blaze are joined by Adam's brother, Skate, along with a massive block of bricks, Max.

Once again I play as Axel, because I feel that he is the most flexible character, so I didn't bother for others... 'specially Blaze. :X

Stage one is straight toward. Brilliant introduction stage with a most funky track. Well, tracks are pretty funky through out. :)

Stage 2 was nuts. Motorcyclists flying everywhere and tossing their grenades everywhere. One of my favourite stages. Jet can be an ass if you don't know how to fight him. Just keep a close eye on him.

Stage 3's soundtrack, dreamer, is one of my favourite soundtracks in the game. It has the pureness of 90's music's receipe. I just love it. The stage's boss used to be a bitch for me. This Baraka-like character can take a bit to learn how to fight properly, but he's predictable in the end.

Stage four. Big brawl all the way. Big boss to go with it. I fucking hate this boss. He's fast, obviously strong and can counter your attacks pretty well. There is a trick to attack and continuously grab him, so he won't be able to touch you.

Stage five was pretty rough. This boss is a real fighter. I continuously had to strike 'em with Grand Upper because he was pretty fast. If I hadn't known that, I'd be dead in an instant.

Stage 6 is pretty nasty two. 6-1 ending fight had three kickboxers for you to take down. They're good so I had to watch them carefully. The two bosses at the end, Jet and that Baraka-like thing weren't too bad, seeing as they're both pretty predictable.

Stage 7. This stage is so fast paced. Hordes of baddies from left to right. Especially on 7-2 where you are stuck on a elevator fighting so many of them. That was the only real trouble on the stage. The boss was not so bad at all. Too robots fighting you. Typical for robots they are not too dangerous to fight against.

Stage 8, the final stage. You fight 4 bosses this time around before the final showdown with Mr.X. That's stages 5, 1 3 and 4 bosses. Once you reach the top, one of Mr.X's top henchmen, Shiva, tries to take you down.

I don't care. Shiva is my favourite character in the Streets of Rage series. He is just sooooo badass. He so deserved to come back in the third game. Good move Sega!

Anyway, Shiva is a real toughie. He's super quick and will furiously attack you. Trying to grab him may not be such a good idea, so I advise not to go so close. :P

Of course you face Mr.X next. I won't explain how I got pass him. He's pretty pathetic. :)

Wrote this quickly, so it wasn't such a great description, but yeah. Please enjoy my playthrough!
