First time playing with Ash. This hack has the standard 3 continues, but also has alot of characters available to select, including Ash who was only in the japanese version as a hidden character.
Ash is very powerful and can run up and down. He has a very long range back attack which has alot of invincibility frames and a combo that is not quite infinite, but does alot of damage per hit. He does not have jumping attacks and if he grabs someone from the front he does some weird animation and wont throw the guy. So he has some issues as well. Still I think Ive had the easiest time with this character as I made it to the final boss.
Never beat the US version legit, aside from the hacked version with 9 continues. I did beat the japanese version which is very easy.
Despite this character's strengths, its still tough since the game is pretty relentless overall. I got this far on my first try though, so I will probably try again and try to complete it. I could improve alot by using that back attack heavily.
