Strengthen Impact and Improve your Golf ⛳️
Welcome back to my channel, this week I discuss the only “position” in the golf swing, Impact.
Rehearsing impact helps to develop the feel to hit better shots and improve your golf.
Key things to look for are:
1. Weight moves up to the left.
2. The left leg pushes the left hip back. Pressure is in the heel.
3. Your belt buckle is further away than it was at address.
4. The right leg rolls down and inwards, not out towards the ball.
5. Left shoulder will go up, right shoulder down.
6. Because of the shoulders, the right hand and forearm will line up behind the shaft.
7. Your hands will press forward slightly.
Rehearsal of this will enhance the feel for it and awareness. Which you’ve done this a few times you can then chip a ball out in front of you to feel it in motion. You will start to compress the ball so much better.
