STRIDE Gameplay // Stride VR // Parkour VR Gameplay - First Impressions of Stride VR Game!
Stride VR // Stride Gameplay // A Parkour VR Game that feels like Mirrors Edge VR! - Stride, or Stride VR, is a VR parkour game that has just hit early access on Steam. At it's early access price point of £15.49 Stride gives players a slim offering of content at launch but the foundation here for a really solid virtual reality parkour game / a genuinely impressive parkour vr game is very good. If you ever wanted Mirrors Edge VR then this is probably the closest thing we're going to get...
Stride VR launches with a tutorial and an endless mode. The Stride endless mode tasks players with getting as far as they can in a never ending parkour corridor filled with enemies, obstacles & a slowly approaching wall of doom! The slick movement in Stride feels natural, I am not the most active person in the real world but the idea of parkour in VR has always appealed to me, surely a parkour videogame / parkour game makes perfect sense, especially in VR and here the team who put together Stride VR have managed to create a movement system that once mastered feels like second nature & a genuinely enjoyable experience!
This is really just a Stride first impressions video and not a Stride review / Stride VR review, but I will definitely be checking back in on this Parkour VR game as early access adds more features in the future. I'm particularly excited at the prospect of the fully fleshed out story mode...
