Strider 2014: Slide-in-Air Tutorial
1The Slide-in-Air or SIA is a movement technique most useful before the first boss and obtaining the Charge Strike. This is because Charge Boosts are really fucking fast, and sliding is ONLY the fastest form of movement up until then. To execute, simply release Down on the control-stick after starting the slide, but before reaching the edge of the platform/ledge. You must stand far enough back to be able to execute the movement, but not too far back or you will have severely reduced speed when you leave the edge. If you mess up the inputs you will grab the ledge. If this happens, wall jump forward and keep going to minimize time lost. I only go back and retry because I am showing all the spots where you can SIA to save time before the first boss.
