Strife
54Strife is a post-apocalyptic first-person shooter with role-playing elements developed by Rogue Entertainment and published by Velocity in 1996. In this game, you take place in a world that has been taken over by a dark religion called The Order, a group of cyborgs that is about to convert humans into their ranks. A rebel organization has been formed and trusts you to free the Earth.
Even though Strife uses the classic DOOM engine, its world is not divided into levels like in other first-person shooters. Instead, you're in a central area of the city and you travel between various levels which will stay the same as you left them. Also, talking to several characters and making decisions may affect the following gameplay.
