Strike Commander - Complete Roland MT-32 Soundtrack (Part 2)
Strike Commander OST Complete Music and FX Soundtrack on a Roland MT-32 sound module. Part 2 is the full MIDI extraction of this 1993 floppy disk release by ORIGIN Systems for MS-DOS played back on a Roland MT-32 using a special program written for this purpose.
The game music (and SFX if no digital sound card selected) consists of XMI data and patch/instrumentation files for both the Roland MT-32 and the AdLib Music Synthesizer. The music is designed to be dynamic comprising of individual XMI files played in sequence. Some cinematic songs are included twice in slightly different tempo (marked with "S" and "F"), perhaps to adapt with cinematic playback speed on slower and faster computers?
Flight music by Nenad Vugrinec and Dana Glover. Cinematics music by Dana Glover, Marc Schaefgen and Randy Buck. Option scene music by Nenad Vugrinec. Additional music by Martin Galway. Sound FX by Nenad Vugrinec, John Lipton and Kirk Winterrowd. NIM Dynamic Audio System(tm) by Nenad Vugrinec and Martin Galway.

Setup used: a real Intel 486 DX2 PC with a Roland SCC-1 card's MIDI out connected to Roland MT-32 MIDI In. Roland MT-32 line-outs connected to RME Fireface 802 channel inputs. Recorded at 96/24. A rinse of Waves' L3 UltraMaximizer in post.
Thanks to Fabien Sanglard for creating libRealSpace used in extracting the XMI files.
