I enjoyed sticking to the end with this book as it has given me ideas and an interesting perspective on how ruthless and dehumanizing you have to be to remain in power. Nothing is sacred, and neither will your enemies believe anything to be so. In a world without actual Gods to oversee your actions, you have to abuse every psychological quirk of your enemies, and Machiavelli managed to find them all with his wisdom. This book is truly a manual on how to be an abusive and manipulative spouse... but to a kingdom.
