Stumbling Through out-take: Shadowgate surprise!
2I was trying a new recording method (FFDShow codec in CamStudio, game audio recorded through Tracktion and microphone audio recorded through Audacity) to make sure that the sound of the video wouldn't lose its synchronization.
To test it, I put on a game I vaguely remembered - Shadowgate, and I just sort of muttered to myself throughout, narrating what I was doing so that I could line the audio tracks up. Most of it isn't interesting enough to upload, but this happened just after failing to get through the coffin room the first time. I hated that game, always :)
The good news is it worked, so it should be far less work to produce the videos now. So it was probably worth the minor heart attack...
