Massiah, born Kai Williams, is a human being living a spiritual experience. He exists upon the physical plane that we commonly refer to as Earth. Refusing to be defined by metrics or accolades, Massiah’s focus remains solely on the task of pouring his soul and experience into vocal recordings.
One of Canada’s most gifted songwriters, the Vancouver MC blends raw unfiltered accounts of generational trauma with a vast spectrum of emotional trajectories. His adept lyricism and relatable story-telling is effortlessly weaved together with dynamic melodies and a raspy, soulful delivery.
The youth leader and community activist has been touted as the “Voice of Vancouver”, and his message rings loud and clear.
CiMaX is a renowned beatboxer within the Canadian beatbox scene and has captivated audiences throughout the city with his extraordinary vocal percussion and performance skills. After moving to Canada in 2013, CiMaX discovered his passion for beatboxing at a young age after listening to a busker who used just his mouth to create music. Ever since then, he started practicing tirelessly, honing his skills and experimenting with different techniques to develop his own distinct style. Today, he is the recent Canadian Beatbox Champion along with his tag team partner Vino whom he has known since high school. As CiMaX looks ahead to the future, he aims to continue to grow as an artist and inspire aspiring beatboxers around the world. Through workshops and organizing dynamic beatbox events around Vancouver, he shares his knowledge and passion, nurturing the next generation of beatboxing talent
