14This series features a complete beginner's guide to Subnautica in 2023, with the Living Large update live on a PS5. Subnautica is a fantastic survival adventure and I have played through the entire game on the channel with a Let's Play, but was so curious to see the new tweaks to the game with the update that I decided to create a guide for players completely new to Subnautica, or those just starting out.
In this guide, I will start a brand new game and walk you through the basics of the controls, the UI, and tips and tricks to help you survive in the beginning of the game. This is a completely non-spoiler guide, meant only to help you learn the fundamentals so you can explore and enjoy the surprises the game offers on your own--which is the real magic of Subnautica, in my opinion.
