4Subnautica part 11 If we wan’t to get to the lost river we need to look for the Cyclops Depth Module upgrade! As well as we need to craft the pressure modification for the exo suit! Welcome everybody! To Let's Play Subnautica! Season 3, Part 13! Last time in Subnautica we tried to find a daminods as those are needed for the cutter, the cutter on the other hand is needed tool in mid game of Subnautica in order to gain access to some of the wrecks of the Aurora under the sea. There is also another reason, the Aurora itself is blocked by derby and crates we can’t move as they are too heavy. We need a proper tool to do so and so the quest of obtaining the Propulsion Cannon begins. The Propulsion Cannon is one of the end game tools in Subnautica and very needed in terms of not only moving heavy objects around but also may serve as a defending weapon. We also need to unlock the aurora to fix the reactors and to find the Exosuit blueprints that are probably located inside the Auroras Hangar section.
First things first we have to once again move to the Mountain Island as that’s is the easiest way to obtain diamonds in Subnautica without the need of pressure module for the seaamoth and without risking been eaten alive by a reaper or other monsters of the sea. With the diamonds we can move back to our base and began making the cutter. Back in the red Grassy Plateaus there is a sealed wreck where the cutter will find his first use I believed before the episode 4 of Subnautica that the final Propulsion Cannon blueprint can be found there whoever I was wrong as the final part for the Propulsion Cannon blueprint can be found in an open space - In a wreck between underwater islands at coordinates (-110 -180 860)
This means the cutter is not exactly needed to get the Propulsion Cannon
However it may come in handy to open other wrecks and maybe even some parts of the Aurora as we still need to explore it at some point. Expect for that the Propulsion Cannon have a lot of cool usage and we can use it do defend ourself from the smaller predators such as the stalkers Or bonesharks however using the Propulsion Cannon on a reaper may not actually work as the reaper is way bigger then the power of the little Propulsion Cannon however I belive in the future we will be able to obtain a devices for the seamoths and exosuit tha will easily serve as a tools to take care of those monsters of Subnautica for good.
In general to use Propulsion Cannon is quite easy as according to the wiki:
Objects can be suspended via the Propulsion Cannon by pressing the right mouse button when aiming at the object. The player can then launch the object by pressing the right mouse button again. "F" simply releases the item without adding momentum.
Attracted objects can also be picked up by the player, making it easier for the player to catch fish, sinking materials or hard to reach items.
By pressing 'F' the player can load certain items from their inventory into the Propulsion Cannon and use them as ammunition.
The items needed to make an Propulsion Cannon are quite common with a little expectation of the Advanced Wiring Kit – for that we will need gold. The remaining materials are Battery and titanium. The basics of baseics items in Subnautica.
