SUBSURFACE CIRCULAR REVIEW FOR NINTENDO SWITCH.

After previously dazzling us all with a game about rectangles with names and back-stories, Mike Bithell returns with a short indie game that's all about robots on a train! (Yeah. That's what I thought. But it might actually be more interesting to play than describe, right?)

This Nintendo eShop offering takes the basic conceits of an old timey text adventure game and puts an interesting spin on them. Offering a blend of simple mechanics, high quality writing and polished audio visual presentation, Subsurface Circular may seem slight at first glance. But there's no doubting the genius of its concept. Without ever once leaving your seat, your robot detective will undertake an investigation of direst importance, puzzle through a couple of head scratching conundrums and eventually make a momentous decision with far reaching societal impact. Sure, this science fiction short may be a bit slight in terms of concept, but it's still got a lot to offer - and think about - once you're done with it.

It's one hell of a (train) ride!
