1. Ghost of Tsushima was a stunning game, but many players felt the open-world experience became repetitive over time. Now, Sucker Punch is back with Ghost of Yotei, and it looks like they’ve taken fan feedback seriously. In a recent interview, Creative Director Nate Fox confirmed that Ghost of Yotei will feature a richer, more dynamic world with unique discoveries, diverse side content, and meaningful exploration. Gone are the repetitive fox chases, every detour could lead to something unexpected.
2. Cyberpunk 2077 gets a big boost on PS5 Pro! With Patch 2.3, CD Projekt Red has added full VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) support, and the results are impressive. On PS5 Pro, frame rates can now soar past 60FPS, sometimes reaching up to 120FPS, for smoother, more responsive gameplay. Even on base PS5, users can expect frame rates closer to 63FPS, offering a noticeable improvement.
3. Borderlands 4 is officially coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 with a release date of October 3rd, but there are some major caveats. Gearbox’s Randy Pitchford confirmed that even the physical version will require a mandatory download, as the game is too large for standard cartridges. This shift to digital-heavy physical releases is becoming more common among publishers on Nintendo platforms. More importantly, Borderlands 4 will run at around 30FPS on Switch 2, not the previously promised 60FPS. Expect potential frame drops during intense combat or multiplayer, especially in handheld mode.
