Normal Irregular Sudoku rules apply, but the regions must be determined by the solver. All regions are orthogonally connected groups of 9 cells.
The blue line is a region sum line. Digits on the line have an equal sum N within each region it passes through. If the line passes through the same region more than once, each individual segment of the line within that region sums to N separately.

Each cell contains a digit 1–8. Within a layer, digits can't repeat in a row/column. Between layers, digits can't repeat in the same position. An X between cells means sum is 10. Not all X’s given. Digits along a thermo increase from bulb to end. A multilayer thermo has its path clarified with matching letters between connected cells. Each cell belongs to one region, a collection of orthogonally connected cells containing 1–8 once each. Cells part of the same thermo belong to the same region. (Cells between layers are “orthogonally adjacent” if they are in the same position in two consecutively numbered layers.)
