It looks like the Suicide Squad will have more than just Batman to deal with and we’ve got the details for you right now. If you thought you’d have to wait until next year to see the Justice League return to the big screen, guess again. Before we get started, just a quick spoiler warning for those of you hoping to avoid knowing too much about Suicide Squad before it opens, but honestly, if you clicked on the video you probably already have a pretty good idea of what you’re getting into. Okay, so a rumor recently popped up that suggested that Ezra Miller could be making a cameo as “The Flash” in the film and we can now say with 100 percent certainty that he will in fact be in the film. While the rumor dates back a couple weeks, it gained some traction over the weekend when the first Justice League footage revealed that Ezra Miller’s “The Flash” will be accompanied by large amounts of lightning when he’s using his powers. Some viewers noticed the same lightning effect in recent Suicide Squad trailers showing Jai Courtney’s “Captain Boomerang” being thrown backwards, leading some to believe that The Flash will be responsible for Boomerang’s capture. While we can’t confirm that will be the case, a list of the final credits for the film does confirm that Ezra Miller will indeed appear in the film and likely in a scene with Captain Boomerang. Considering Boomerang made his first appearance in the Flash comic back in 1960 and is considered a member of his Rogue Gallery, seeing The Flash be responsible for his incarceration seems logical. Now, while Ezra Miller is included in the film’s official credits, there’s one Justice League member who is mysteriously absent and that’s Batman! We know from set photos and the film’s trailers that Ben Affleck’s “Batman” does appear in the film, but neither Affleck nor his Batman v Superman stunt double are in the credits. We’re not exactly sure what this means for the film or Affleck’s involvement, but we’re definitely anxious to find out. Perhaps he doesn’t actually speak in the film so they didn’t credit him? So many questions and luckily they will all be answered next week when Suicide Squad arrives in theaters, but for now what do you think of Ezra Miller appearing as “The Flash” in Suicide Squad and any guesses to why Ben Affleck isn’t in the credits? Share your thoughts in the comments and then click here to find out what we want to see happen in the movie. I’m Erin Robinson, thanks for watching and we’ll see you soon with more movie news!
