[Sunder] Map 1: Python (with Angels of Death)
I was bored again and don't want to do speedruns anymore since there's always somebody who beats my time and I also get comments which don't even have anything to do with the video like "omg ZDoom sucks sooo much, if you play with it the games is sooooo much easier!!!"
Anyways, this is the first map of Sunder (I made video of it many months ago) and well, the map is pretty easy the normal way, so, like some older videos of me, I played it with Bdoom47.wad and aod.wad. With the Angels of Death, this map gets much more tricky and difficult.
Bdoom47.wad:
It improves many graphics and sounds but also, unfortunately, changes some of the game's physics. A few examples are:
-Berserk punches are stronger than normal
-Spidermastermind shoots much faster than normal and thus becomes a much bigger threat
-monsters get pushed back very much if they get shot with the SSG
-the missiles of Revenants fly in smaller curves, making it harder to avoid them
aod.wad:
aod stands for "Angel of Death", which is the name of the monster it adds to the game. This enemy replaces Hellknights and Barons with a dangerous killing machine. You should only play with this wad if there aren't many Hellknights or Barons in a map. A little description for him:
Looks like: A strange, brown, human-like creature with 2 gatling guns, a dark grey coat and some sort of grenade launcher on his chest
HP: 1.000
Attacks: 1.) Shoots many small projectiles which bounce off walls and pierce every monster (and you of course). They aren't really strong but the problem is that they can (and most likely will) hit you multiple times.
2.) Shoots small capsules which explode and release the same projectiles as of attack 1 to all directions on impact. The small explosions of the capsules can deal insane damage if they hit you directly.
