Sunderland MK IIIA The Biggles plane
3Hi guys, today we fly out the Sunderland MK IIIa. This plane reminded me of my youth I started to read Biggles Pockets around 1963 while just moved from a small farm village to a medium city and discovered Biggles there.
That is probably why I like bi-planes and Bombers. But this giant Whale was used by Biggles and his friends as he was more of an adventurer. Enjoy this one!!
After some research, The Nord Noroit was a French amphibian designed and built in the immediate post-war period for the French navy, intended for use in anti-submarine warfare and air-sea rescue.
This plane was also used by Biggles in some of the books of Capt. W.E. Johns.
