10This felt tougher to pull off deathless than the original, but that might be because of the experience difference, since the amount of time put into this game doesn't compare to the hundreds of hours so many of us have put into the first game. The most difficult spot to get through unscathed for me was, without a doubt, those Stage 6 mouths. Staying on the right, just off the edges by a couple sprites' length feels like the safest, from my perspective. Fire, fire, and fire some more with that Spread Gun, and down this game goes!
Played on authentic NES hardware. No turbos, pausing, save states or other cheats allowed.
