Super Freaks SAGE 23 Trailer
15Every completed Super Freaks game will be at Sonic Amateur Games Expo 2023, during the week of September 1st to 8th. For those of you not familiar with them, let's take a look:
Super Freaks 1 Ultimate Edition is a heavy reimagining of the Super Freaks' first game. It features very imaginative level design, extensive four player co-op (with Knuckles Chaotix style rubber band shenanigans), multiple difficulty modes and modifiers, and an outstanding soundtrack done by @philosophicalracoon @philRacoindie @philR_aco_. The game is currently in its final release candidate stages and the finished game will be released at SAGE (and on itch.io at the same time).

Super Freaks Presents: Strato Scruffy was a Fantasy Zone esque shmup spinoff meant to be finished in 2009, but thanks to me being a bad coder back then, it languished for 14 years until I finally finished it. Although a few QOL changes have been added (including widescreen and 60fps), it is basically a time capsule straight from 2009, albeit one that has aged far better than I thought it would. IMO, it is the best game that isn't Ultimate Edition.
Normally Strato is part of the Super Freaks Classic Pack, but due to how surprisingly good it is (and the circumstances of it taking 14 years to finish) it is getting its own booth at SAGE.

Super Freaks Classic Pack is a collection of all of the other completed Super Freaks games. This includes the 2006 and 2016 Remastered versions of 1, 2, 3, the top down shooter Scruffy Rides Again, the done in 24 hours remake Quincy's Adventure, and Super Freaks The Demo, which was present at SAGE 2016. Some of these games have never been released online prior to the creation of this pack. Because some of the early games are rough in quality, "polished" versions have been created that fix the more frustrating bugs and add many QOL features to make playing through them at the very least an alright experience.
