Super Mario 3D All-Stars is a cash grab, plain and simple. If you enjoy the game though, this isn't an attack on you. It's an attack on Nintendo to actually start releasing legacy content without starving the fans of it for so long that they're willing to pay $59.99 for a 20 year old game.
