Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is one of the best games Nintendo has ever made, and it’s going to be fantastic seeing it finally get the adulation it deserves. Back in 2013 I said the Wii U game was “beautiful, colourful, amusing, and bereft of any cynicism whatsoever”, and if you don’t need that in your life, I don’t know what to tell you, because bar the multiplayer elements, this just might be one of those elusive truly perfect video games.
