Time to dive into a Nintendo Switch game that I skipped over when it originally came out on the Wii U.

I didn't have a good time with Super Mario 3D Land, and when I found out that the next console Mario game was A) basically Super Mario 3D Land 2, and B) yet again, not a 3D open-world collectathon, I passed on Super Mario 3D World. But now that we've had Odyssey and my collectathon demands have been met, and after hearing so much praise for 3D World, I finally decided to give it a go with the port to the Switch. And yeah, it's pretty good!

This is Part 1 of my full playthrough of Super Mario 3D World, covering Worlds 1-3 and 5-6.
