Super Mario 3D world is the latest in the line of classic platformers from creator Shigeru Myamoto. Run, jump, and in some cases, claw your way through dozens of different, unique and challenging levels as either Mario, Peach, Luigi, or Toad. Super mario 3d world also features the first appearance of Captain Toad, who later got his own game, in Captain Toad Treasure Tracker. Super Mario 3d World features two entirely new powerups, including the Super Bell, that transforms you into a cat, and the double cherry, which doubles the number of controllable players.
Super Mario 3D world has you rescuing the Sprixies from the hands of the ever persistent and questionably evil Bowser, who has captured them for reasons he never really makes too clear. That's Bowser for you, I suppose.
Super Mario 3D world is a colorful, delightful romp through a highly detailed and fun world, Super Mario 3D world is sure to delight people of all ages, and probably move several thousand Wii U units in the process.
