Super Mario Advance - Rolling Yoshi Egg Glitch
31This is a glitch I discovered when I was younger. It always really bugged me that you couldn't take that weird ball thing out of the vase (because you can't climb ladders while holding an object), and one day I was really determined to get it out by any means neccessary, and that's just what I did! Read below (or turn on annotations for the video) to find out how it's done!

First, go to World 2-2 and play as Luigi (only he has enough jump to perform the glitch). Secondly, you will need to have at least three hearts. Then, go into the tall vase that has the ball in it. The way this glitch works is by expoilting the fact that you are launched into the air a bit when you get hit by a hazard. So, once you have the ball, do a Super Jump, and try to run into one of the Sparks that go around the room, and then keep holding left or right, and you should clear the ladders and make it out of the vase. Once out of the vase, the ball takes on the appearance of a Yoshi Egg! The three hearts are needed because Luigi will not be boosted upward when he shrinks.
At the end of the video, I show an explanation I discovered for why the ball becomes a Yoshi Egg. I noticed that it and the Yoshi Egg take up the same spot in the memory; when you enter a vase, certain sprites are replaced, the Yoshi Egg being one of them!
