When I first heard that Nintendo was putting the original Super Mario Bros on the Game Boy Color, my first thought was, "What's the point?". Nintendo had already put out original Super Mario games on the Game Boy, so why wouldn't they do the same for the Game Boy Color instead of porting a 14 year-old game to the system. Well, they did add several extra features to make it more appealing which is something they would continue to do for other Mario games on the Game Boy Advance.


Super Mario Bros. Deluxe for the Game Boy Color was developed and published by Nintendo in 1999.
