273UPDATE Slight correction: the Fury check only happens once per turn, not per attack / hit. The rest of the explanation as presented in the video should still be accurate.
Not shown, but the Fury Fangs essentially multiply the counter's value by 150%, both for the purposes of meeting the threshold and the chance of Fury status triggering.
I legitimately went from not knowing how this works to figuring it out in an hour and change. Thanks, me, for having already reverse-engineered the game's RNG, backing up a casual playthrough 3DS save, and sort of knowing how to use NO$GBA's debugger.
