Hi there! I'm back with a brand new Piano Arrangement recorded exclusively for YouTube!
I'm currently playing the new Super Mario RPG Remake on Twitch https://www.twitch.tv/dcapovgm and I remembered how much I love the track "Sad Song" that plays once Mallow learns of his past for the first time. It's both a little sad but also funny given the way it's delivered in the game.
I wanted to try and make this tune a bit more dramatic and lean into the "Sad" a bit more, so I adding a bit of romantic flair and made the whole arrangement feel a bit closer to a Chopin piece. I adjusted the key to a minor, added a little ornamentation, fun phrasing and some harmonic additions, and I think it worked out pretty well! I also added some new material based on the B Section to end out the arrangement, which I think rounds things out nicely.

Heads up! This arrangement was all by ear, so I currently do NOT have sheet music, but I do have someone working on transcribing this performance, so I will update in a pinned comment when that sheet music is avaliable!
