After getting through Kero Sewers, Mario arrives at Tadpole Pond, which is home to a bunch of tadpoles, and it is Mallow's home. They meet up with the Frog Sage, who reveals the truth about Mallow, and he suggests they head to Rose Town, and when they stop at the inn, something mysterious happens with one of the dolls belonging to the inn keeper's son.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

We have arrived at Tadpole Pond, and I don't have any plans to get 100 coins in Midas River, because it is very difficult to do it. Tadpole Pond is home to tadpoles, and we meet up with Mallow's grandpa, the Frog Sage. I am not a fan of the name change, because in the original game, his name was Frogfucius, but in this game, they changed his name to Frog Sage, and his Japanese name is Frog Hermit. We use the tadpoles as platforms, while the Frog Sage uses a Lakitu to travel around, and we learn about the events at Bowser's Keep, and Peach is no longer there, as well as the Star Pieces, and then we learn about the truth about Mallow, and we get sudden music change, the song is called Elegy. After a bit of dialogue, if you picked up the Cricket Pie back at the Mushroom Kingdom shop, give it to the Frog Sage, and you will receive the Froggie Stick, the first weapon for Mallow.
The next area is Melody Bay, this is where we meet Toadofsky, a composer who is looking for a new song, and you can complete one of them to receive the Alto Card, which you can use to access the Juice Bar, and that is where you can buy Tadpola Cola, or Froggie Drink as it was called, which heals the party for 30 HP, it name is a reference to Chuckola Cola from Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. Frogleg Cola was called Elixir, and this heals the party for 80 HP, the other is the Frog Coin Emporium, you can buy items for Frog Coins, Sleepy Bomb puts foes to sleep, Bracer redcues damage an ally take by half, Energizer increases attack power by 50%, Party Bracer is the same as Bracer, but it affects all party members, while Party Energizer is the same as Energizer, but all party members are affected by it.
Next up is Rose Way, this area has a lot of treasure boxes, and there are floating platforms to take, most of the treasure boxes have coins and Mushrooms, and one has a Frog Coin. This area has some new enemies, the first one is Starslap, a pink starfish that attacks by slapping opponents, and they can heal themselves or an ally with Recover, and they are weak to Mallow's Thunderbolt.
The next enemy is Shy Guy, they can inflict status ailments, Doom Reverb inflicts Mute, and Lulla-Bye puts foes to sleep, the song plays is the main theme from Super Mario World. The other enemy is Snapdragon, these flowers are weak to fire attacks, and their special move is Pollen Nap, which puts foes to sleep, when put to sleep, it either takes 3 turns or be hit by a normal attack to wake them up, they appear along with Starslaps and a new enemy called Crook.
Crooks are fast enemies that will try to run away at the start of the battle, but if you are able to defeat them, they drop a decent amount of coins. The next one is Arachne, a large spider that uses Venom Drool, which poisons the target, and is called Poison Water in Japanese. This enemy is named after Arachne from Greek mythology who was turned into a spider, and they are some of the more powerful enemies encountered at this point in the game. Their rare drop is a Cleansing Juice, originally known as Able Juice, which cures an ally of any status ailment. There is a Lakitu in the area that can send Shy Guys down, and there is a secret if you can defeat enough Shy Guys, I didn't know about this at the time.
After getting through Rose Way, we then find Bowser and his minions, and they gave the troop leaders names, because in the original game, the troop leaders didn't have names. After that, we enter Rose Town.
When we arrive, there is arrows raining down and the weapon music is playing, and some of the citizens are frozen in place because of the arrows. There are some items we can collect, two Hidden Chests, the Rose Town Shop one has a Frog Coin, and another in an elevated house which requires jumping on the head of a Toad, and this one has a Frog Coin, and you can press the switch to get some stairs to show up, and the Toad you helped tells you a secret path in the Forest Maze.
The Rose Town Shop has some new items, a Wake-Up Pin to nullify sleep, Trueform Pin to prevent Mushroom or Scarecrow, and a Fearless Pin to prevent Fear, the enemies in the Forest Maze can inflict those conditions.
The main thing you want to do is visit the inn, where we meet the inn keeper and her son Gaz, who has some dolls of Mario, Peach, and Bowser. After playing with Gaz, we then get a cutscene where one of his dolls awaken, and we then learn that the doll has been sighted in the Forest Maze.
