In Super Mario Sunshine there is a Sunglasses vendor who appears in Delfino Plaza and many other the Levels on the island. Talk he him once you collect 30 Shines to get Sunglasses for Mario that darken the area and once you defeat Bowser he will also give Mario a Tropical Shirt too. These bonuses stay with Mario until you talk to him again or leave the area.
