Super Mario Time Warp - Launch Day Official Trailer - Nintendo Switch
3Hello any and all! This has been a passion project of mine for quite some time. For the last 3 years, I have been meticulously creating a mini Super Mario game within the “World Maker,” option of Mario Maker 2. Not only does Mario Maker give you the ability to design your own Mario levels from the ground up, but you can compile all of your creations together in one single package. You can essentially create your own Mario game! Within Mario Maker, level creation potential is endless, and your imagination is the only limit.
I have titled my short but sweet 24 level adventure, “Super Mario Time Warp.” See the gimmick is that with every level you advance, you also advance further down the timeline of Super Mario himself, starting from his origins way back in the original Super Mario Bros., and ending with Super Mario Odyssey. Every level in this game is fully inspired by a specific Mario game. To help me familiarize myself, I replayed EVERY mainline Mario game that I was planning to pull inspiration from. For the last 3 years, I have played and studied every Mario game to help me craft this epic adventure. I put the best of my work and abilities into this project, and it was a long time coming for sure.
Super Mario Time Warp Details!
As I stated, there are 24 levels in this game. In regular Mario fashion, every level has 3 star coins for the player to collect. These are not mandatory, however serve as a fun collectable challenge should the player choose to search and find them. Some are hidden better than others. The first star coin is labeled with a, “10,” on it. The second and third star coins in the level are labeled with a, “30,” and “50.” This is to help guide the player. For example, if the, “30,” coin is collected first, the player knows that they missed the, “10,” coin, and will have to backtrack should they wish to collect it.
In addition to star coins, there are 6 secret exits in total in this game! Throughout the 24 levels, 6 of them contain a hidden secret exit as an additional challenge. Can you find them all?

As a true love letter inspired by 22 of the most popular Super Mario adventures, aid Mario in this short but sweet epic tale across the ages.
