Super Mario 3D World (Japans:スーパーマリオ ３Ｄワールド) is een platformspel voor de Wii U. Het spel wordt uitgegeven door Nintendo en is ontwikkeld door dochteronderneming Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development. Het spel is uitgegeven op 29 november 2013 in Europa. Spelers kunnen Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad en later ook Rosalina besturen. Het spel staat vooral bekend om de introductie van de 'Kat-Mario' power-up.
Super Mario 3D World (スーパーマリオ3Dワールド Sūpā Mario Surī Dī Wārudo?) is a platform game in the Super Mario series developed by Nintendo EAD Tokyo for the Wii U video game console. It is the sequel to Super Mario 3D Land for the Nintendo 3DS, and was released in Japan on November 21, 2013, North America on November 22, 2013, Europe on November 29, 2013, and will be released in Australia on November 30, 2013.Whilst exploring the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Toad come across a strange clear pipe, which a curious green fairy-like creature, called a Sprixie, pops out of. Suddenly, Bowser appears and captures the fairy before escaping through the pipe. Thus, Mario and friends enter the pipe to pursue Bowser, and find themselves in the strange new Sprixie Kingdom as they search for the Sprixie, along with some of her other companions.
After rescuing the final Sprixie, Mario and co. get ambushed by a supposedly defeated Bowser, who re-captures all seven Sprixies again, and retreats to his final castle. After powering up with the game's two new power-ups, Bowser engages the heroes in a final battle, but is defeated. All dressed in their Cat Suits, the four heroes leave the Sprixie Kingdom as the citizens wave goodbye. Bowser meanwhile, is now trapped in a bottle as punishment.
Super Mario 3D World ist Teil der Jump-'n'-Run-Videospielreihe Super Mario. Das Spiel stammt von den Entwicklern von Super Mario Galaxy und wird Ende November 2013 für die Wii U erscheinen. Offiziell enthüllt wurde das Spiel vom Hersteller Nintendo am 11. Juni 2013.
Das Spiel orientiert sich stark am vorherigen 3D-Teil der Reihe, dem 2011 erschienenem Super Mario 3D Land. Als erstes 3D-Spiel der Serie bietet 3D World einen Mehrspielermodus, bei dem Mario, Luigi, Toad und Prinzessin Peach zur Auswahl stehen.

Estuvo anunciado en el Nintendo Direct del 23 de enero de 2013 pero un trailer se enseñó en el Nintendo Direct @ E3 2013 del 11 de junio de 2013, junto con los primeros detalles.
Es el decimoquinto título de la serie Super Mario y el sexto con gráficos en tres dimensiones. El nombre claramente da a entender que es una secuela Super Mario 3D Land desarrollado para Nintendo 3DS.
El videojuego se publico para Nintendo el 22 de Noviembre de 2013.

Dévoilé lors de l'E3 2013, le jeu est sorti en novembre 2013 sur Wii U. Mario, Peach, Luigi et Toad scrutent le ciel étoilé et découvrent un tuyau transparent. Une mystérieuse jeune petite fille verte (nommée sur le site officiel Princesse Prixie) se fait soudainement kidnapper par Bowser.
