There are two outcomes of this. The first one is for just the screen to freeze or Mario's clothes to keep flashing. The second outcome is Infinite Coins. Get Yoshi and have Fire Mario with a Cape Feather in reserve or Cape Mario with a Fire Flower in reserve. Walk under a berry and release the reserved item. If Yoshi eats the berry and grabs the power-up at the same time, the screen will freeze. Grabbing the Fire Flower will make Mario's clothes flash. Getting the Cape Feather just makes the screen freeze. Grabbing the power-up right after getting the berry causes your Coin amount to keep going. This can help you get 99 Lives. When the screen freezes, Pause and push Select to exit the stage. This is best to try at Yoshi's Island 2.
