The season couldn't have started any better for the _Ramblers_ if they had scripted it. The contact specialists were kept flat footed for most of the game vs. the _Moonstars_ , and if not for a rare display of power, they would certainly be looking at a rougher start than they've had!
For game 2, the _Ramblers_ turn their attention south of the border. They travel to Puerto Rico (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jCsPfwv87k&list=PLak_Z7Zz3P2I5EWWbiKTOubJsu79D-gel) and to a _Swordfish_ team still reeling from a season opening loss to the _Overdogs_ . On paper the _Swordfish_ are a solid, power hitting team. A real contender for the championship, but the old adage of those who live by the long ball die at the plate, and the _Swordfish_ have struggled to find their stroke.
On the other hand, the _Ramblers_ are pounding the ball right now. The _Ramblers_ have struggled to get hits, which is odd for a team know as contact specialists, but their ability to go yard has not only saved them but is the sole reason why they were able to beat the reigning champion _Moonstars_ . The _Ramblers_ are also being treated to some fabulous performances from their pitching staff. A much maligned and often overlooked bullpen has looked like they are ready and rearing to go! They made need to look elsewhere for a shutdown closer but in the early going the season has looked good for the _Ramblers_ !
Which team will get their offense going first? Which team’s pitcher is going to be able to keep the opposing hitters dumbfounded?
