Super Metroid - Any% Glitched - 11:30 with Tile Viewer
The grid map you see overlayed over my cam in this run is a Tile Viewer displaying the room via a usb2snes connection, using the qusb2snes app developed by Skarsnik. I don't look at it a whole lot throughout the run, but I do reference it during the first trip Out Of Bounds and then I did again on this particular run at the end of the run, although I usually do that part blind.
Traditionally this category is run without the use of Tile Viewers (blind) and using them means the run is currently not allowed on the leaderboards... but it has become so prohibitively difficult to do this route blind that most runners don't want to even bother trying to run it. I see this as an issue with the accessibility of the route, and given other recent accessibility changes on the leaderboards I would like to see more people try running this with the Tile Viewer, either as a separate category on the leaderboard, or with a filter, or heck, even just without a leaderboard. The category is very difficult but very satisfying to pull off and quite fun as it's so short with tech you won't find anywhere else.
This particular run was pretty much flawless with the exception of a complete disaster at x-ray hallway that made it awful. Every run is awful. Oh well.
