Super Metroid Legacy is the first Super Metroid hack I've found worth my time to play. I beat it a couple of days ago, so I thought I'd put together a quick video demonstrating a potential any% route. This movie was played in realtime using savestates.

This was a fun diversion away from vanilla Super Metroid, but I don't think it will catch on in the SRL community. Time may proveme wrong, however, as Super Metroid Legacy is almost (but definitely not) as good as vanilla Super Metroid.

As for the route, it's something I came up with after staring at the map and tinkering around a bit in game. It may be the obvious route, I don't know. I do know that there are obvious improvements to the room strats and inconsistencies in the way I handle things. This is mostly due to the way I put the movie together, practically routing by the seat of my pants. Big thanks to Garrison for telling me about certain tricks specific to this hack.

The in-game time for this run is 39:06, and the real time is 57:48.
