Redesign is a hack created by Drewseph released in 2006. In day 4 I find the suitless Maridia section lasts one room, long enough to get to the eastern section of Norfair. This leads to by far the largest difficulty spike in the hack, the "Grapple Gauntlet". Making this section worse, there is no close save, requiring me to redo a long section just to get to grapple in the first place every time I fail.
