The passage before the X-Ray Scope is pretty annoying to traverse, especially since the "light sources" are at the very front and they explode if Samus touches them. The passage is also pretty long and Samus can suffer a lot of damage if she drops in either one of the spike pits. Yes, I am aware that my item selection skills is pretty low, I keep thinking that the item selection is a menu and forgetting about the item cancellation button.
