Too bad Samus doesn't get protection from acid until the much later games in the series, seeing as how the Gravity Suit provides lava protection. I love the music theme to Ridley's Lair in this game; however, I actually heard it in Magmoor Caverns in Metroid Prime first before I actually made it this far in Super Metroid lol. Unlike the first Torizo, the Gold Torizo can block a lot of Samus's attacks. One thing to keep in mind is that he deflects Missiles, but always grabs Super Missiles. The latter leaves him wide open momentarily for a continual barrage of Super Missiles. The Super Missiles he tosses back at Samus don't hurt a lot, so really a close-up confrontation is best. The reward, the awesome Screw Attack (finally!).
