Enjoy! I can't believe I let this completed playthrough sit in my computer for more than two years. Guess my upload clean up of winter 2020 is what finally pushed me to get this out on Youtube.
For me, I'm one of those people who grew up liking Super Paper Mario for what it is even if it doesn't play anything like its predecessors in the series. One thing this game definitely tries to one up Thousand Year Door on is its story which can be interesting and quite touching (there were tears shed when I first beated this game). Now what if we took out nearly ALL of the dialouge in this game and turn it into merely a stage-by-stage, real time, 2.5D sidescrolling RPG platformer with a simple premise? Well that's the question this playthrough will attempt to answer as it goes along. You'd be amazed at how quickly this game can go by without all the unskippable text present inside. Hope you like this unique playthrough!
As stated, I'll be skipping over as much text, important story elements, and cutscenes as I can. Going in the pattern of Heart Pillar in Flip(Flop)side, preparations, chapter, rinse and repeat until the end of Chapter 8. With me trying to edit out almost all the text in the game has caused the editing to get rather janky (especially with the sporadic in-game music as of result). So apologies if that becomes distracting.
This part will cover the first chapter in Lineland.
