Super Programs 8 contains one game called Star Trail where you take the role of Captain Church of the UK spaceship Endeavour. Your mission is to rid the Galaxy of Klingons before they can start a large scale attack on the Mothership in 181 hours time. The Galaxy is divided into 16 quadrants, with each quadrant divided into four sectors. You must move around the sectors and quadrants searching for the Klingons and attempting to destroy them.

You ship is equipped with Short Range Scanners and Long Range Scanners, and these can tell you the locations of any nearby Klingons, Starbases and stars. For combat you have phasers and torpedoes which use up energy, and to protect you, you have a shield and you decide how much energy to go into your shields. As you search the galaxy you can also dock with Starbases which can repair your ship and this starts a small arcade sequence where you take control of your ship and attempt to move the ship into a gap in the base.
