The track I ended up with was fittingly Ryu Stage Type A.

Yep Ryu is real! The leak may have spoiled the surprise but it's still quite interesting to actually play him. He does feel like they took him from a Street Fighter game and put him into Smash gameplay wise and didn't change a whole lot. The new loading tips even mentions doing inputs can increase the power of some of Ryu's moves like Tatsumaki Senpukyaku.

Lol I really wish I had the Gamecube controller mod for my 3DS to make doing said inputs a lot easier. Oh well, still pretty fun and certainly different to have him in Smash.

Also this was recorded with a 3DS capture device from 3ds capture dot com if you are curious. Someone asked before but they didn't allow replies to the question.

Also isn't it great the game picked the Devil/Psycho Cars to send at me while playing Ryu? It's like if the car from the classic bonus stage came back for revenge! Lol but I still hate when the game swarms you with enemies at times but at least it wasn't that stinking Reaper this time.

I don't know what else I want character wise, Konami went crazy so as much as I'd love someone from Castlevania or Snake back there is little chance. A Square Enix character now that'd be really amazing... Some tried to speculate Crono and that'd be REALLY amazing but the Chrono Series getting in like that is more than a longshot. K.Rool definitely should happen though too.

No I won't make any shoryuken puns. Also I don't fear people spamming Hadoken it doesn't seem quite as long range when done without inputs. If my brother tries it on me I'm just going to pick one of the many characters who can reflect projectiles.
