You know, I should try playing Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 2, as I hear it's actually a pretty good game. Most of my recent experiences with Pac-Man gaming has been Baby Pac-Man. Maybe it's sad.

Then again, Baby Pac-Man is among the rarest of all Pac-Man arcade machines made (with Professor Pac-Man the only one rarer that made it past the prototype phase). Bally made the arcade machine in 1982 without Namco's permission (they received permission to make Mr. & Mrs. Pac-Man earlier that year). It didn't take long after release for Namco to find out, and Namco put a stop to it all.

Baby Pac-Man is considered one of the toughest iterations of Pac-Man to date. It takes a high amount of skill just to clear the first maze, and this game begins you with 5 lives. The ghosts have significantly increased AI, anticipating your movements and coordinating themselves to corner you. They find paths to cut off every escape route and prevent you from obtaining Power Pills. They will take the wraparound paths if you manage to keep your distance. The red ghost even moves faster than Baby Pac-Man, meaning you're done for if he gives chase and can easily escape if you get a Power Pill.

Match #5
Mario
Onett
This particular color scheme of Mario has been gaining popularity pretty quickly, it seems. This design is based on one of his outfits from NES Tournament Open, a golf game. Naturally, I am Shyamalan. YuuGiJoou is, well, YuuGiJoou on YouTube, Eel is WHiteKhakis, and NUCTLE, to my knowledge, does not have a YouTube account. Is it me, or do cars that run into combatants appear more frequently than before? They don't have the extreme knockback they do in Melee, but they can really rack up damage. There may be lag spikes, but the fact that we were able to play so smoothly most of the time is great, considering Nuctle is in the UK and the rest of us were in the USA, thousands of miles apart. (Translates to thousands of kilometers apart.) I knew that Final Smash would not KO, but I wanted to get some quick damage done.

Match #6

Kongo Jungle 64
This stage comes up a lot. I'm surprised it's big enough to accomodate 8-player smash. But I guess it more comes down to processing power, since as a classic Smash Bros. stage, it doesn't need that much processing power. It looks like the Stopwatch pretty much neutralized the sleep time Bellossom induces. Those sloped platforms at the upper-left and upper-right are also a bit annoying for an item specialist like me, as I see some of them bounce right off after appearing. I wonder if that will ever get patched. I must wonder, speaking of items how other people can grab them so effortlessly when you see me struggling sometimes, like with that Warp Star. I think this is also the first time in my videos you'll see Midna. The deuteragonist from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, she is a Twili who hangs out with Link and gives him some rather sharp-tongued advice. In this game, she'll grab and toss anyone within range. It does count as a grab, so shielding will not work. If people move away, she will teleport closer.

Match #7
Fox
Temple (Omega)
Nuctle had to leave due to the GamePad running low on battery power, so now it's the remaining three. Here is, at last, a For Glory match. No wait, nevermind. A crate full of items just appeared. What, did you think I was going to actually put up For Glory matches so soon? In any case, if you're not familiar with the Omega feature, this is a re-imagining of every stage in the game having a perfectly flat Final Destination type layout. It was an answer to all the Final Destinationers in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and is used primarily in the mode called For Glory. In that mode, all stages take their Omega forms, and there are no items. In addition, 1-on-1 matches can also be specified, in which case they are 2-Stock, 5-minute matches. I am actually glad they created that mode, so I can stay in For Fun and not have to deal with any Final Destinationers.
