I have been playing a bit of Smash Remix, a mod that adds characters and stages to smash 64

I noticed in the options they included a beta feature that shows a framerate counter in the top left hand corner so I thought it would be a good way to quantify the lag that is saved on IQue/VC. This is possibly a good way to define the advantages that IQue has over N64.

Disclosure: This may not be accurate, it's not the only change to the ROM so there is potential for inaccuracy, also I haven't talked to the creator so I dunno how accurately the framerate is displayed. I assume this is just a display of the clock rate. In this ROM the 1player seems to freeze randomly so I lost better runs to freezes, this is a pretty good example though.


This FPS counter is build into the ROM and not added in post, this is completely generated by the n64 with no post-processing or editing done
