Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - Nintendo's NA Final Console Characters vs. Console Launch Characters
One day before my channel turned 12 years old, I celebrated Nintendo characters that have appeared at the end vs. the beginning of Nintendo consoles. I'm playing as Nintendo's final video game character for all Nintendo consoles released in North America. These Nintendo characters have marked the end of their respective console's era. I'm playing as Kirby, Wario, Daisy, Ganondorf, and Link. Kirby was the last character introduced for the Super Nintendo, with Kirby's Dreamland 3 being the final game Nintendo published in North America for that console. Wario concluded the NES era, and despite the NES's lackluster finale with The Lion King, Wario's Woods was a satisfying end. Daisy, similar to Waluigi, was the last character for the Nintendo 64. In the 1990s, Daisy was so similar to Peach that localizers, journalists, and gamers didn't realize she was a separate character. The last Nintendo-published game in North America for the N64 was Mario Party 3, which also featured Daisy in her Super Mario Land design. Ganondorf sported his Twilight Princess look for this battle, aligning with the fact that Twilight Princess was the Gamecube's final Nintendo-published title, where Ganondorf received a redesign. With Breath of the Wild as the Wii U's last Nintendo-published game, Link is the latest character to close a Nintendo console's chapter. My CPU opponent uses Nintendo's launch characters: Captain Falcon, Yoshi, Mr. Game and Watch, R.O.B., and Peach. Peach and R.O.B. debuted with the North American NES, appearing in Super Mario Bros., Stack-Up, and Gyromite, respectively. Mr. Game and Watch originated from the handheld series bearing his name, with Ball as his introductory title. Captain Falcon and Yoshi were the Super Nintendo's launch characters in Japan and North America, first seen in F-Zero and Super Mario World, respectively. I extend my gratitude to all the Nintendo characters who have marked the launch or conclusion of the fantastic Nintendo consoles. This is likely to be my final video for Independence Day.
