(Note: We all know Mewtwo is genderless, but come on, it sounds pretty masculine. It ain't a FemTwo, though. That's silly and weird.)

There were two issues at hand right now.

The first one was Viridi's extreme dislike to Mewtwo having been created by humans. She hated the very idea of a creation of humans pretending to be part of nature.

Then there was the most troubling one. The mere fact Mewtwo overheard Pit calling him "freak of nature" was enough for Mewtwo to lash out and viciously hunt the angel down around the temple. Mewtwo was smart to grab Pit's weapons and toss them away, leaving Pit completely defenseless.

Injured and hiding away in a patch of flowers, Pit panted. "O-okay, so maybe I shouldn't have said he was a freak of nature," he said. "Preeeeeeetty sure I didn't say that."

"No, you said he didn't choose to be a freak of nature, which by all means ALSO means you called him a freak of nature," Palutena pointed out.

"That wasn't really open to interpretation, either," Chris added.

"Man up and take him down, Pit!" Viridi ordered. "He mustn't be allowed to be on the prowl! What if he's radioactive and wilts all flora around him?! That's going to reflect badly on me!"

"Mewtwo didn't do anything wrong, though!" Chris said in his defense. "He couldn't care less about trying to exterminate or rule the world. He just wants to be left in peace."

"I agree. People trying to capture him only get on his bad side, which results in survivors coming back and warning everyone about how dreadfully strong he is," Palutena said.

"P-people DIE trying to capture him?!" Pit screamed.

"Psychic-types can be really dangerous to fight, especially when you're on the Legendary status, Pit. Why else would you find two skulls dropped on the ground and four arm bones stuck on the ceiling?"

Chris grew ill at that mental picture. "I-I'm very thankful I never said I wanted to catch him..." he muttered.

The patches of flowers abruptly were uprooted and tossed away, making Pit yelp when Mewtwo's glowing, glaring form appeared before him. "P-please! Spare me! I didn't mean calling you a freak of nature! I don't wanna die! I STILL WANT TO LEARN HOW TO REEEEEEEEEEEAD!!!" Pit pleaded, crying with a runny nose.

The goddesses and the teen shut their eyes to avoid looking at the carnage.

"...Very well," Mewtwo said, floating back down, his body stopping glowing. "My apologies for trying to slit your throat. I have...simmered down considerably after I tried to find you."

Pit cried and slammed his face on the ground in a bowing stance. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" he thanked, making Mewtwo wince at his loud cries. Palutena and Chris sighed in relief.

"Note to self: never enlist Pit to end Mewtwo. He becomes a baby," Viridi said.

"Back off, sister. He's mine," Palutena said.

"Fiiine, I'll just have Dark Pit do it."

"You know our terms! I only fight Pit!" yelled Dark Pit from afar, making Viridi grunt annoyed.
