In this video, Super Space Invaders, released in 1991 for the Atari ST by Domark.
Space Invaders is an evergreen, so Domark thought that making a super version of the classic arcade would be appealing and cool. Let's see how they did and if they were successful. The game starts with a nice animated intro and a cool digitized music and ask us if we wanna play the normal version or the new one. The normal version puts the aliens in rows and lines while in the new one the aliens form carousels and they move in circles or other patterns.
Graphically the game is good with many and different sprites on screen that cause also some slowdowns, the sound is good and the playability is identical to Space Invaders and it's both a good and a bad thing, because it feels like playing the original arcade but it becomes boring after two or three runs in a row. This game's good for occasional playing.
